Join us for a special family day out. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Sherbourne hotel, in the heart of Sherburne, Dorset, whilst raising funds for the Dorset and Somerset air ambulance. Come and visit our many stalls, fun activities for the children, or simply sit and have a cup of tea!

You are invited to run, jog (or even walk a little of the way) the Trickey Warren Trek and in so doing support the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.
The event to be held at Culmhead Airfield, Trickey Warren on 20th September,2009 is designed for all ages and capabilities. For the seasoned athlete who would find the forest trails and uneven ground of the 10k a real challenge, to the less experienced runner who would enjoy the 4k, to all who would love the Fun Run.

A presentation of £710.00 was made by Wimborne Methodist Church to the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance this week.
The Church raised over £2,100 through Catering and Gift & Book stalls at the recent Wimborne Folk Festival, and wished that 1/3rd went to the Air Ambulance for the very important work it does throughout the area. A further two donations were made to the Poole NHS Trust Wish List (scanner appeal) and towards the Refurbishment of the Coffee Lounge kitchen at the church.
